Today With Bryan Short:

Welcome to Window Treatments for Profit. It’s no secret that I value coaching. I am a coach. I work with coaches. I interview coaches regularly. But I never tire of hearing how individual businesses benefit from different conversations and approaches with their coaches. Today, Bryan Short of Sewing Loft of Avon shares his insights into how a business coach transformed his business.

LuAnn Nigara and Bryan Short’s Ah-Ha Moments

“Our pre-business coach philosophy was we do everything. But our clients are like, ‘that’s great but I don’t need a one-stop shop. I need someone who’s going to stop me from making mistakes, and if there is a mistake that happens that’s going to come up with a solution.” -Bryan

“What does it take to be an entrepreneur? It takes a lot of belief in yourself, guts, the ability to stomach a certain amount of risk, a vision for your company. The next sentence usually isn’t, ‘Oh I don’t know what to do, let’s ask somebody else?’ By definition an entrepreneur is someone who is self-reliant. But I have noticed that no matter how long someone is in business, the most successful ones almost always have some sort of coaching.” -LuAnn
